Up for grabs is my '65 lefty NOS Strat in surf green. Got this about 4 years ago out of Southpaw guitars in Houston. It was supposedly special ordered and never picked up. I've always luvd the maple neck Strats and particularly this one because of the pearl vs black fret dots. It's just a great look. Unfortunately, shortly after I got this I got hooked on acoustics which I play 95% of the time. Since I have other electrics, this goes to finance my next acoustic. This Strat is like new. No scratches on the guard., body, back, or front. A beautiful instrument with the surf/maple combo. All case candy is there: strap, cloth, hang-tags, etc. Case is the custom shop issue that comes w/ these Strats. The colors are pretty true. The neck is actually lighter. Contrasty afternoon light made it hard to get the shots consistent. The full body shot is the truest overall.............. SHIP IS $100 UPS GROUND INSURED. CON US ONLY. NO RETURNS.
One fellow asked about the neck profile; a net check confirmed these were set up with a C shaped neck. My hands are medium and the neck feels very comfortable. After all, these weren't like Gibson LP's with clubby necks or thin necks. All Fender necks are pretty comfortable and fast. Any doubts about the ship #? All I can say is I recently shipped a J45 UPS insured (double-boxed) cross country and it came to $97.50. RT
